Meet Bruce Fagan

Bruce Faganʼs ear for music was discovered before he ever had a lesson. When he was only four years old, Bruce could hear a song once and play it on piano. He particularly enjoyed “showing off” in front of his older brother’s piano teacher.

Inspired by a camp music counselor, Bruce got the “bug” for performing. He took up guitar and by age 14 was performing at coffeehouses throughout the area.

Since 1968, Bruce has been delighting audiences at organizations, senior apartments, assisted living communities, and nursing facilities with his lively musical programs.

In 1974, Bruce began to perform on piano and keyboard for private parties and, two years later, formed The Bruce Fagan Ensemble – a dance band for weddings and other social events. In addition to leading the band, he performed as a power single, and interactive, digital deejay.

At the same time, Bruce entertained children at day and overnight camps, preschools and community centers across the region, from Maryland to Connecticut

Bruce continues to perform music ranging from Broadway, swing and jazz to rockʼnʼroll and pop music – all blended with humorous songs, anecdotes and audience interaction for senior audiences throughout the greater Philadelphia area.

With thousands of performances behind him – including the honor of performing for Tony Bennett and for Peter Nero – Bruce still loves the thrill of entertaining and looks forward to providing the music for YOUR next event!
